About the Book
The book is description of the citizen centric services offered using technology as a medium wherein the citizens are able to access various services being offered by the government through a single stop shop called Mee Seva. It provides deep insights into how Mee Seva functions in the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh. The volume has been written on the basis of data collection from the primary sources and extensive interviews with different stakeholders involved in the design, deployment and delivery of Mee Seva. The book primarily focuses on how Mee Seva has reduced various malpractices in the citizen service delivery and has made the entire process hassle free and a fruitful experience for the citizens as the country marches ahead towards good governance.

<p><strong>R.K. Mishra,</strong> Director, Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, has studied, researched and taught at the University of Rajasthan, London Business School, SDA Bocconi, University of Bradford and International Center for Promotion of Enterprises. His areas of interest include: corporate governance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), enterprise management and public policy.</p>
<p><strong>A. Sridhar Raj</strong> is an Assistant Professor at IPE, Hyderabad. He has done his Masters Degree in Public Administration and has completed his PhD in the area of Training and Development. He is involved in research, consultancy and training in the area of public sector enterprises. His areas of interest are: governance, citizen services, citizen charters, policy formulation and policy execution. </p>
<p><strong>A.N.K. Prasanna Anjaneyulu</strong> has 14 years of teaching experience at Engineering and Post Graduate colleges. He was Associate Member of Technologist at Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata and worked at Engineering Staff College of India (The Forum of Institution of Engineers), Hyderabad, before joining IPE. His areas of specialisation include: enterprise resource planning, software testing, data warehousing, data mining, web mining, relational database management system and programming languages.</p>
<p><strong>K.V. Anantha Kumar,</strong> Assistant Professor at IPE, Hyderabad, is Mechanical Engineer and MBA (Marketing) from Osmania University. He was awarded PhD in 2006 for his research work on “Marketing Strategies of Life Insurance Corporation of India: A Comparative Study”. Dr Ananth is on the editorial board of “Drishtikon”, a journal enlisted in Ulrich, Cabell’s Directory and EBSCO. His areas of interest include: micro insurance, customer relationship management, customer satisfaction, evaluation studies.</p>
