The State Level Public Enterprises (SLPEs) are an effective tool to accelerate the growth of core sectors of the economy. The initiatives taken by the visionary leaders during the five-year plans, the role of SLPEs in terms of contribution to the Indian economy has been impressive. The present book aimed to analyse the performance of SLPEs in India. It has defined the importance and the role of SLPEs towards achieving self-reliant economic growth.
