C.H. Hanumantha Rao, Founder-Member, Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS),Hyderabad, is presently, Chancellor, Hyderabad Central University; Chancellor, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad; Hon. Professor, CESS and Institute of Economic Growth, University of Delhi.


He was Chairman,CESS, from 1995 to 2007 and a member of the National Advisory Council from 2004 to 2008. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the president of India in 2004, for contributions in the field of Literature and Education.

 

 

 

R. Radhakrishna, Chairman, Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS), Hyderabad, has held several important administrative positions and served as an expert consultant to several international organisations. A prolific writer, he has authored/co-authored many books and contributed to major national and international journals. 

Earlier, he was Director, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai, from 2001 to 2007.

 

 


S. Galab is currently, Director, CESS, Hyderabad. His research encompasses the broad fields of rural development and agriculture. He is presently leading the Young Lives project— an International Longitudinal Project in Andhra Pradesh on childhood poverty.

 

 

 

N. Sreedevi is presently Associate Professor at CESS, Hyderabad. She has been working on state finances, central finances, local finances, and centre-state and state-local financial relations.


Besides public finance, her other areas of interest include interface of monetary policy and fiscal policy and macroeconomics.
